Organic production is a priority in the development of the green economy. The aim of the study is to identify opportunities for the prospective development of organic agribusiness in a digital environment and on the way to a green economy. The research methods were the study of the scientific literature and the regulatory framework, followed by a generalization of the received information, as well as analytical and comparative methods. The study made it possible to assess the current state of organic agribusiness. The introduction of digital technologies involving the automation of production, technological, and managerial processes will contribute to the prospective development of organic agribusiness, will allow the production of better products with less harm to the environment, and will also increase the efficiency of organic production due to more economical use of resources. As a result of the study, the directions of greening and digitalization of agribusiness in Russia were identified with a view to transition to a green economy. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the results in the development and improvement of the regulatory framework for the development of organic agriculture.
