A comparison of the species composition of anopheles mosquitoes from the East Kazakhstan region and the south of Western Siberia has been carried out. A comparative cytogenetic analysis of An. messeae larvae from the southern and central parts of the range was done. The tendency of displacement of the “south-eastern” genocomplexes from the center of the An. messeae habitat to its southern borders has been observed.
