A new flux cored wire based on the dust from gas-cleaning plant of silicomanganese production was developed for surfacing the scraper conveyor troughs. Mechanical properties were studied, and a microstructural analysis of the deposited samples was performed. The coefficients of manganese absorption were calculated for various ratios of components.
