The 4th International Conference on New Energy and Future Energy System (NEFES 2019) was held from July 21st to 24th, 2019 in Macau, China. The technical program comprised four plenary speakers, forty invited speakers, eight oral presentation sessions and an interesting poster session. NEFES 2019 dedicates to facilitating the global development of new energy and exploring ways in which the latest research results can be shared. This volume records the proceedings of NEFES 2019 and contains 131 rigorously selected manuscripts submitted to the NEFES 2019 conference. All the manuscripts were selected depending on their quality and relevance to the conference.
