The biomass adsorbent is prepared by chemical modification of agricultural and forestry waste as raw materials, and has the characteristics of wide source, low price, fast and efficient, and degradable regeneration. It can not only reduce the environmental pollution, but also realize the green development concept of “treating waste by waste”. Biomass adsorbents have gradually become a research hotspot in water treatment theory and technology, and agricultural and forestry wastes that can be used as raw materials are increasing. According to the research status at home and abroad, the research on the treatment of anions by biomass adsorbents is reviewed. It is expected to provide reference for the further adsorption mechanism of postgraduate material adsorbents for anions and the rational utilization of agricultural and forestry wastes.
