The dynamics of the level of Lake Balkhash in conditions of climate change is considered. It is shown that the undisturbed runoff: the rise (decline) of the level occurs during the entire time that the annual amount of precipitation is above (below) the norm. The maximum (minimum) is observed at the moment when the parabola crosses the line of norm from the period of excess (shortage) of precipitation to deficiency (excess) of precipitation.
