The error processing of dam safety monitoring data is the basic work of the whole data analysis, and it is the guarantee for objectively evaluating the safety of dams. This paper summarizes the sources of error, analysis methods and research status of dam monitoring data, lists several commonly used error processing methods and the latest research progress, and compares 3σ criterion, Grubbs criterion and mathematical model method, and finally analyzes through engineering examples.
