This paper analyzed the construction requirements of the network security of information infrastructure in the geological prospecting industry, and proposed a network security system of information infrastructure for the geological prospecting industry, including physical security, network communication security, computing environment security, regional border security and security management. With the weak infrastructure of the industry units and the lack of operation management system, the overall solution for the network security construction of information infrastructure for the geological prospecting industry was proposed. Based on the constructed information security system and the overall solution, a typical network security implementation scheme of information infrastructure for the geological prospecting industry units is proposed.
