Preface The 2019 5th International Conference on Energy Materials and Environment Engineering (ICEMEE 2019) has been held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during April 12-14, 2019. On behalf of the organizing committee of ICEMEE 2019, I would like to express a warm ‘Thank You” to all the participants, for their important contribution, they brought to the Conference! I strongly appreciate the contribution of the authors, who submitted valuable papers and agreed to do successive revisions of their papers, following the recommendations received from the reviewers. The aim of the ICEMEE 2019 Conference was to bring together experts in energy materials and environment engineering, in order to exchange ideas and make new connections to extend and develop partnerships between the researchers from all the world.
