A comparative analysis of the organic food market in Russia and Germany presented in this paper makes it possible to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each and to work out directions for the development of domestic organic agriculture. A comparative analysis of the organic food market is carried out according to the following parameters: (a) types of distribution channels; (2) barriers to entry and exit; and (3) the price level in relation to the industrial products.
