This paper summarizes the regulations related to operation of wastewater treatment plant at home and abroad, analyses the system, quantity and type distribution of the standards related to operation of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at home and abroad, and provides theoretical basis for research and development of operation effect evaluation criteria for Chinese WWTP by studying the contents and demands of standards related to operation effect evaluation of WWTP at home and abroad.
