The results of various norms of application of the herbicide Euro-Lightning (1,2, 1,0, and 0,8 l/ha) in sunflower hybrid crops “Volcano” are presented. Field small-scale experiments were laid in the conditions of stationary crop rotation of the UNPO “Volga region” of the Saratov State Agrarian University. Stepnoye of the Engels district of the Saratov region. The size of the plots was 25 m 2 , the location of the plots was randomized, the repetition was fourfold, the processing was single. Method of application: spraying of vegetative plants. In sunflower crops, 7 species of weeds belonging to 6 families were noted: Echinochloa crusgalli (L.) Beauv., Setaria pumila (Poir.) Schult., Chenopodium album L., Amaranthus retroflexus L., Fallopia convolvulus (L.) A. Löve, Convolvulus arvensis L., Lactuca tatarica (L.) C.A. Mey. The best result in the fight against weeds and an increase in sunflower yield was shown by the herbicide Euro-Lightning at a rate of 1.2 l/ha: biological efficiency, taking into account the total contamination, was 98.1 -100%, crop yield increased by 31.3% compared to the control.
