The article presents the analysis of the weed flora of the fallow lands of the southern part of the Volga Upland area within the administrative borders of the Saratov region. The characteristics of different-age deposits are given: minor (1-2 and 3-4-5-year-olds), medium-age (6-10-year-olds) and old-age (12-15-year-olds) weeds. The authors point out common species of weeds for each age group of fallow lands. The leading families are described. Weed flora was analyzed by the life forms (according to I.G. Serebryakov), the way of seeds and fruits distribution, according to the response to soil moistening. Geographical analysis of the flora is given, adventitious species being indicated.
