In the article, the assessment of solar energy potentials is based on the use of the following categories of solar energy resources: gross solar energy potential and technical solar energy resources. During the analysis of the main results, research methods were applied -comparison, description, analysis, generalization, a systematic approach, and a draft solar energy cadastre was proposed. The features of the spatio-temporal dynamics of solar radiation intake are determined.
