The article studies the growth and development of three varieties of tomato when grown under conditions of complete light culture with a lighting power of 175±15 µmol/m 2 /s. The passage of phenological phases by tomato varieties corresponded to the inherent genetic potential. The Andreyka variety has formed larger leaves, compared to cultivation in protected ground. Variety Demidov formed powerful and highly leafy plants. Variety Stepanna formed medium leafy plants with medium leaves. At a lighting power of 175±15 µmol/m 2 /s, tomato varieties formed more leafy plants with larger leaves compared to plants grown in protected ground, which is a response to lighting conditions.
