The article discusses the main factors affecting the yield of sugar beet; the approaches of leading experts in the field of forecasting the yield of sugar beet have been studied; Based on the analysis of the dynamics of the yield of sugar beet in the Kursk region for 1975-2019, a multifactor model for forecasting the yield is proposed, which has a high accuracy of forecast data.
