The plan for the development of the Landak District General Hospital is motivated by three things, namely the first from the mandate of law concerning hospitals, secondly the development of the Landak Regency in line with population growth, and the increasing demand and third the need for health services that occur in health centres. The aims of this research are to prepare of the initial stage of the Masterplan of the Landak District Hospital, for obtaining a harmonious and balanced use of regional space with the needs and capabilities of supporting urban growth and development by taking into account the harmony of the environment, the availability of a regional development plan that can function as a forum for integration for the interests of all parties. The results are the strategy of master plan development of Landak general hospital viewed from architectural programming namely activity patterns, zoning formation, space requirements, functional relationship, circulation patterns, building security and safety, landscape and open space, and parking requirements.
