Aerodynamic modeling is of great importance for design of axisymmetric aircraft control system. In this paper, an axisymmetric aircraft aerodynamic model selection method is constructed, which involves an orthogonal least squares algorithm using in model structure selection, and the method based on it is selected for determining the aerodynamic coefficients. Then the method is tested in three axis coefficient modeling of a certain axisymmetric aircraft, and the modeling result is consistent with the wind tunnel test data.
