This work presents a study on applying the electron beam method for refining pyro-refined copper (as initial material) and obtaining multiple metals through electron beam melting. Studies of and results on the refining processes under different technological modes are presented and discussed. The experiments were performed in single-melt operations with different e-beam power inputs and refining times. Evaluation is provided concerning the extraction of some valuable metals (such as Ni, As, Bi, Pb, Sb, Ag) generated in the condensate during their removal from the liquid metal in the e-beam refining process.
