Because wind power itself does not have the ability to automatically adjust the frequency, the current continuous increase in the proportion of wind power in the grid makes it difficult for the frequency stability of the system to meet operating requirements. VSG control is to introduce the mathematical model of the synchronous generator into the control strategy of the inverter to make the inverter show the characteristics of the synchronous generator. As a control strategy of the inverter, Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) has flexible and adjustable control parameters. Features. This paper first analyze the current equivalent inertia calculation method. Based on the above-mentioned equivalent moment of inertia research method, a new improved equivalent inertia calculation method is proposed. The improved method further reduces the error on the base of the original method. At the same time, the amount of calculation is greatly reduced, which is of great significance to the stable calculation of the power system.
