Based on the theory of multi-body dynamics, this paper proposes typical impact model and friction model to research the dynamic characteristics of the transmission mechanism with clearance joints in ADAMS softwear environment; On this basis, considering the hinge gap and friction factors under the rigid condition of the mechanism, a multi-body model is developed. Dynamic simulation analysis has studied the influence of five hinge gaps and three friction coefficients on the speed and output displacement of the rudder transmission mechanism. The research results lay an important foundation for the further development of the rigid-flexible coupling and thermal-mechanical coupling dynamic characteristics of the rudder transmission mechanism base.
