Cold storage technology can realize energy storage and release according to demand and balance the power grid by “shifting peak and filling valley”. Ice cold storage system has the outstanding advantages of large cold storage density and simple system, and is the frontier direction of current cold storage technology research and application. However, there are some problems such as low phase transition temperature of cold storage medium and high energy consumption under cold storage condition. The research shows that magnetic field can increase the freezing point of water and aqueous solution by about 3.0-5.0K, which is beneficial to further increase the economic benefit and save energy in refrigeration condition based on the refrigeration demand.
