This paper systematically reviews the development history of 4K UHD TV in China, analyzes the innovative application of 4K+5G technology in the field of UHD TV live broadcast, and analyzes its characteristics and advantages. Taking the UHD TV broadcast by The China Media Group(CMG) using 4K+5G technology as an example, this paper analyzes the role of 4K+5G technology in promoting the reform of radio and television programs and its future development direction, so as to provide references for the industry.
