In this paper, the basic structure of steer-by-wire system is firstly introduced, and the steering stability of steer-by-wire system is summarized by means of stability control method and variable angle transmission ratio method. Finally, the unstudied direction of steer-by-wire system at this stage is summarized, and the intelligent steer-by-wire system is prospected, which provides basic information and ideas for the study of steering stability of steer-by-wire system.
