This study aims to: (1) develop a smart home electrical protection system, (2) determine the feasibility, and (3) user responses to the developed system. Development research was conducted using the ADDIE and Waterfall models. Product trials were conducted on 94 respondents from college students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results showed that: (1) there was an IoT-based electrical protection system that was feasible to be applied in smart homes. (2) the feasibility of the developed media is included in the “Very Appropriate” category according to the expert, and (3) user responses to the IoT-based electrical protection system are in the “Very Good” category.
