The potential for improving the energy efficiency of diesel generation really exists and can be estimated in real money. Reducing the fuel component is one of the priority areas. This article discusses the problems and possible options for the modernization and reconstruction of diesel generation, including the positive experience of JSC Sakhaenergo of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
