This article analyzes the possibility of using non-traditional – solar and wind power engineering to ensure the autonomous functioning of infocommunication facilities operating without the constant presence of personnel. The technical characteristics of the main functional elements and the conditions for their interaction in the power supply system of the communication object are given. The main results obtained during the operation of the experimental scheme of autonomous power supply are shown.
