A class of methods for ranking a finite set of objects based on a multiplicative matrix of pairwise comparisons, when the comparison results are expressed by fuzzy values, is considered. A fuzzy extension of the simplified version of the AHP, which was introduced by the author earlier, is proposed. In this extension, the elements of the matrix of pairwise comparisons can be type 1 or type 2 fuzzy numbers.
