With the development of The Times, the traditional industrial design has been unable to meet the needs of industrial development. In industrial design, the biomimetic technology of Grasshopper can improve the quality of industrial design. In this paper, the current situation and deficiencies of China’s industrial design as well as corresponding strategies are firstly explained, and the morphological bionic design platform and design application analysis of Grasshopper are explored for readers’ reference.
