The rise and development of the new engineering poses challenges to the traditional teaching mode, and the online class under epidemics conditions also faces the transformation demand of the traditional teaching mode. In the face of difficulties met with the traditional teaching model and online classes, this paper takes the online classroom teaching of the curriculum of “traffic management and control” as an example, introduces into the class the concept of active learning in the teaching model design, and makes the bold innovation practice on the traditional teaching mode from the online teaching contents, teaching methods and evaluation.
