In this paper, the improved numerical method is used to time the traffic lights at intersections. The traditional numerical solution method cannot make the setting of phase difference the most reasonable, and the actual distance of each intersection cannot completely meet the ideal distance, resulting in a lot of loss of green time. Therefore, this method still needs to be improved. Although the survey data in this paper are obtained through field investigation, they are still not universal. More accurate data come from multiple surveys and integration.
