In this paper, a cylindrical FPSO is analyzed. Firstly, the structural characteristics and structural layout principles are introduced. The overall structural model of the main hull of the cylindrical FPSO is established by using the three-dimensional finite element design software. According to the actual situation in the operation process, the boundary conditions and load cases are determined. Finally, the yield strength of the main hull is checked. This paper has a certain guiding significance for the design of cylindrical FPSO.
