For a kind of acoustic metamaterial with special microstructure and attenuation band gap, the vibration transmission characteristics of five period Drude system with series double harmonic oscillators are analysis to uncover the widening band gap method. The harmonic oscillator stiffness parameters are changed to expand the range of band gap width. The increase of parameter k 1 will widen the high frequency band gap width, and the increase of k 2 will widen the low frequency band gap width. In band gap region, under the steady state, the first harmonic oscillator in five period motion direction will change from consistent to inconsistent as the parameter k 1 change. The conclusion in pass band region is similar. The research provides technical approach for promoting the development of vibration and noise control in engineering.
