A dielectric resonator antenna with size 100 * 100 * 10 operating at 6GHZ is proposed. The proposed antenna is constructed using triangular monopoles on top of the cylinders and fed by using a power divider with four ports. Power is fed through the microstrip line to the power divider. The cylinders are combined with patches of triangular shape. The designed antenna has a bandwidth from 5GHZ to 9GHZwith a peak gain 26dBand for satellite uplink applications.
