In this paper, the Lasota-Wazewska model of survival of red blood cell in humans was studied, in which the probability of death of red blood cells was adopted as a function using nonlinear delay differential equation of the first order. Some conditions were established to guarantee that the number of red blood cells oscillates about the equilibrium. The results are supported by some illustrative examples.
