The paper presents the results of research and analysis of the efficiency of the power systems of the rotor of the gas generator of modern bypass engines with an afterburner. It was revealed that the gas axial forces, which are the difference between the axial forces of the rotors of the high-pressure compressor and its turbine, acting on the front angular contact bearing of the gas generator, can be significantly reduced in order to increase their reliability and service life.
