Diabetes mellitus is one of the enduring and lethal disease which is caused due to enlarged levels of glucose in the blood. Therefore, it’s quite necessary to predict the diabetes in its early stage. In this paper, we have studied machine learning algorithms to predict the diabetes. We have made use of PIMA Indians diabetes dataset and weka (a tool to implement machine learning algorithms) and predicted the precision, recall, accuracy, f-measure and receiver operating characteristics.
