With the rapid development of China’s economy, people’s demand for electricity is increasing. In order to ensure the reliability of power supply, a dual Q programming model of distribution network is proposed. In this paper, the overview of “double Q theory” and key technologies are described, and the problems and optimization of medium voltage distribution network planning are discussed for readers’ reference.
