This paper describes the tool created for design and optimize supersonic partial admission impulse turbine for LRE [ 1 ] application, which is commonly used in open cycle applications, while focusing on the models used to better predict the operational conditions of turbines for small thrust range engines. Also, the tool for turbine blade profile generation and the main assumptions for its optimization are discussed and the preliminary results presented, showing the possibility to improve the turbine performance for LUMEN Demonstrator operational range
