A statically indeterminate system consisting of rods which are prescribed in the initial state by unit vectors is considered. The basic equations of balance and equilibrium are presented in dimensionless form until the critical deformation in the elastic and elastoplastic domain in the rods is reached. The given basic equations allow taking into account the additional loading or unloading of the rod system at the point of reaching critical deformation in the elastoplastic domain. The process of loading the system in the case of simple loading is shown and the process of deformation of a specific rod system is described.
