Chestnut shell breaking is an important part of chestnut processing. According to the measured physical parameters and geometric dimensions, the solid model of chestnut was established by ANSYS software, and the chestnut was divided into appropriate element grids. The stress and strain of chestnut shell breaking were analyzed along different loading directions. The results show that the y-direction loading is the most labor-saving, and the x-direction loading is the best, so as to improve the quality of chestnut shell breaking It provides a theoretical basis for the further processing of chestnut.
