The paper considers the features of underground radio communication at medium frequency (MF) range. The perspective and most effective antenna solutions at MF range are presented. The characteristics of the antennas are given: the reflection coefficient, the dependence of the input impedance. Antennas are matched with voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) less than 1.2. Attention is focused on some features of the operation of these antennas. The results of comparative tests of antennas are presented.
