The conference “Dynamic Systems and Computer Science: Theory and Applications (DYSC) 2020” was organized by Irkutsk State University (Russian Federation) during October 19-22, 2020. A wide range of diverse issues has been discussed at the symposium: • qualitative analysis of diverse equations describing dynamic processes including differential, integral, integro-differential, differential-algebraic, integro-algebraic, functional-differential, operator, stochastic, and difference equations; • inverse and ill-posed problems for equations and systems; • controllability and stability of dynamical systems; • optimal control problems: necessary and sufficient optimality conditions, numerical methods and applications; • mathematical modelling of natural processes and phenomena; • mathematical modelling for a wide range of technical, informational, economic and chemical problems. Over the four days of the conference, 63 high quality papers were presented. Due to the pandemic, DYSC 2020 was organized in virtual mode. The next conference will be organized in 2022 as a Baikal Summer School.
