This study aims to develop learning-based tools science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) based on learning communities for improve critical thinking skills in arithmetic sequence and series material. The learning tools developed were RPP, LKS, and THB. Method which used is development with the Thiagarajan development model through four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this research are students SMKN 2 Bondowoso class X. Students’ critical thinking skills are measured using learning outcomes test. This research is to describe the development process and test results validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of this study produce a device learning that meets valid criteria which is practical, and effective.
