In view of the various instruments, equipment, survey methods and current problems involved in the deep sea survey, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the deep sea survey data, this paper puts forward a design method for the application framework of multi-source heterogeneous data in the deep sea survey. This method uses XML language to analyze, extract and fuse the multi-source heterogeneous data generated by marine survey equipment, so as to meet the practical application requirements of data. The practice shows that this method is feasible and easy to use as an application method of multi-source heterogeneous data in deep and deep sea survey.
