The article deals with the influence of the power level of the generation of a CO 2 laser on its electrical and dynamic characteristics. The dependences obtained will make it possible to take into account the effect of the generation level on the discharge characteristics when calculating the stability of systems for stabilizing the radiation power of gas-discharge lasers.
