Injection molding process parameters have a very important influence on the molding quality of plastic parts. In this paper, the application of injection molding parameter optimization technology in the study of injection molding process is reviewed. The basic principles and characteristics of various optimization techniques are described. Optimization techniques mainly include: Optimization based on Taguchi method, Optimization of numerical simulation based on CAE technology, Optimization based on genetic algorithm, Optimization based on artificial neural network. The application types of optimization problems applicable to various optimization techniques are discussed.
