In this paper, the design parameters of the wavelength division multiplexing based on free–space optical (WDM–FSO) within the C+L band are optimized via Opti-system 7 computer software. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated under different weather conditions, namely, clear, haze, rain, and fog. The Amounts of 1E-9 and 6 were adopted as a communication condition for B.E.R and Q-Factor, respectively. The W.D.M system operating frequency is ranging from 190 THz –to– 193.1 THz through 32 channels with a channel spacing of 100 GHz and a bit rate of 10 Gbps.
