The thesis selects 18 evaluation indicators, adopts comprehensive analytic hierarchy and linear process and method to measure the development potential of tourism in Hebei Province. Taking the eastern provinces and regions of China as a comparative sample, the study found that the tourism industry in Hebei Province faces problems such as small scale, short chains, and low integration of resources. It also proposes countermeasures for potential improvement in terms of cultivating leading tourism companies, building tourism clusters, and promoting cultural and tourism integration.
