Nowadays, many Chinese learning games can be played online and offline. Games are easily found in cell phones, PCs and consoles. There are also many types of games such as: Role Playing Game (RPG), First Person Shooter (FPS), Action Games, etc. Other than those mentioned, researchers want to tell only a few types of games. Game-Based Learning can control in three important parts of learning, namely Emotional, Intelligence, and Psychological. This study aims to determine the views of students in grades 3 and 4 elementary school if using the Game Application Learning Method (Game Based Learning) in learning Mandarin in class. In addition, researchers also want to know the game models that are expected by students in grades 3 and 4 in elementary school to help learning Mandarin. From the students input, it was concluded that the students found it helpful to learn Mandarin with the help of games. In addition, they hope that the game designed contains teaching material that can help learning to listening, speaking, reading and writing.
